Setting Goals - September 2014

August was definitely a month of test for me. I made it through but it opened my mind up to things that I usually just overlooked or didn’t always put much thought into. Like to be grateful I need to stop complaining as much as I do and focus more on the positive of things.

It’s a new day and a new month to learn from yesterday and pass the test that will come in the future. I never really liked pop quizzes but that’s part of everyday life anymore it seems. I’m going to approach this month’s goal differently. I can’t stand when a person is untrustworthy and I don’t want that to be something someone sees me as. Although I don’t count on people taking me serious when I write about my goals but I’m dead serious about the goals I set. My motivation comes from varies things depending on the situation. Anywho, let me tell you what my goals are for this month of September.

There’s this block I walk every now and then and it takes me 20 minutes to walk it. In order for me to get around this block, I’m going to have to jog at least half of it or more. I haven’t ran in years and if I did, it’s wasn’t very far but I want to start running again. Goal 1 will be to make it around that block in 10 minutes or under.

My next goal will be to Inventory all my lego sets. I’m working on setting up a spreadsheet to make it easier for me to see what I have. I plan to write a separate blog about it sometime this month once I get it set up the way I want it.

It’s been a long time since I sit down and added music to my Ipod. The way I add music is I’ll add a folder called random than whatever number folder it is. In each folder, I put 100 songs in it. Then I’ll add that folder to my Ipod. Just adding one folder is good enough for me in the next month.

I’ve had Peanut Butter cookies on my mind for a while and have been meaning to bake some. Going to bake homemade PB cookies this months. This sounds more like a bonus.

I plan to get a project done around the crib. Not sure what project I want to do but I want to do at least one. The good thing about this month’s goals is that it’s the 1st day of the month right now so I have plenty of time to come up with my plans and execute then all. Next month when I post my goals for October, “you WILL NOT see me say that I didn’t complete all my goals this month”.

So for the month of September 2014, my goals will be..

1.     Make it around the block in 10 minutes.
2.     Get all my Lego sets entered on a spreadsheet.
3.     Add Music to my Ipod.
4.     Wrote 4 blogs.
5.     Save $100.
6.     Watch 5 movies or shows, then write about each one.
7.     Put laundry away within 24 hours after washing it.
8.     Bake Peanut Butter Cookies.
