Setting Goals - August 2014

If you’ve been keeping up with what’s going on with me, as you can see once again, I’ve slacking on getting blogs out weekly. I’m not going to make up excuses for not getting on my business this month. Just been lazy and not handling business.

A recap of the goals I set for myself in July 2014 were:

1.     Wrote 4 blogs.
2.     Save $100
3.     Watch 5 movies or shows, then write about each one.
4.     Put laundry away within 24 hours after washing it.
5.     Do 50 push-ups without stopping.
6.     Do 30 sit-ups without stopping.
7.     Put together the rest of my Lego Ninjago sets.

I posted 4 blogs in July; two setting goals blogs, one movie blog and a random thoughts kind of blog. Didn’t meet my goal on that one. I’m sure I watched more than 5 movies that month but didn’t get them posted. Knocked the laundry out and saved $100. Also knocked out the Lego Ninjago sets, 30 sit-ups and 50 push-ups. I was excited about the push-ups and hurting afterwards. I’ve wanted to do those push-ups for years.

This month, August 2014, didn’t put any thought into what I wanted to do because continue doing the first 4 things on my list. Like I said, I’ve been slacking and not on my business. I’ve posted one blog this month, not including this one. About a 2 weeks or so ago, I decided to work on being more grateful and appreciative. Doesn’t feel like I’m making any progress because I don’t really feel any more grateful or appreciative.

This week, been working on not complaining as much. This was coming along ok until today. People annoy me, especially smart mouth ass motherfuckas that are trying to a point about shit that doesn’t matter in the conversation we’re trying to have. Ugh.

Going to try to come up with some goals for next month asap. I want to stick to plan and continue setting goals for myself. Just need to make myself handle them when it’s time to.

Before I Went to Bed Movies 1

Before I go bed, I sometimes turn on a movie but usually pass out a couple of minutes into it. There are some movies that take me months to finish watching because I try to watch them in the bed.

Started watching Yelling to the Sky one night but I couldn’t sleep so I ended up watching the whole movie. It was pretty good for the most part. It was about being raised around dysfunctional people and household, and how things could go in that situation.

It kind of made me think about when I was school and how people would act. I bet there were a lot of kids that came from a bogus household and came to school acting out.

O, is a pretty good movie. All it takes is one jealous disturbed person to damage everybody around him. This movie was dark to me. When the drama started to really go down, I was mostly during to the night in the movie at seemed. I don’t know. It was decent movie.

Green Lantern, was just ok. The first time I seen it, I wasn’t really feeling it but the 2nd time, it was ok. I feel like they could’ve done more with the Green Lantern character. Just seems like they focused more on the special efforts than a good story line.

I’ve always been confused about Green Lantern, one minute he is a white guy, the next he is black then he is white again? I guess I didn’t really read the comics and only paid attention to the pictures, hahaa!!
