Go-Go's - Watching Movies in April 2015

Been on Youtube a lot lately, watching/listening to music video mostly. Not sure how I came across any of the Behind the Music videos but I did. It’s the Behind the Music shows are interesting. It’s the other side of the music we don’t get to see unless it’s the media is showing it but that’s not really good way to see it.

Behind The Music: Go-Go’s: I think I had seen this one in the past. These chicks partied hard and were freaks. Looks like they had a lot of fun though. I dig some of their music. I mean, I’ve been listening to them since I was extra young.

Behind The Music: Guns N’ Roses: I’ve never bought any of their music but I somewhat remember their first album. Well, I remember the videos from the first album. I wasn’t really into their music but over the years it started to sound better, maybe because it reminded me of my past.

Some people just can’t handle fame. They were partying extra hard too.

Behind The Music: Dr. Dre: I know I’ve seen this one before. It also took me back to my High School days. Dr. Dre came out with the Chronic, I still listen to that classic album.

Behind The Music: Snoop Dogg: Snoop also had a classic album called Doggystyle along with the Chronic album. I remember the Death Row days. Around 92 through 95, they were pretty much at the top of Hip Hop. Like most labels, they went to shit with a lot of drama.  

I also watched the Bangles, Ice T and started watching the group Heart. Wasn’t sure who Heart was but I recognized a couple of the songs on the show so far.  I thought the chick from the Bangles dated Prince but she was acting like she wasn’t feeling him in that way. I guess all these years I was wrong about that happening.

I thought I’d have more to say about these but I guess I don’t. They all brought pretty much brought back memories.

When I created the Constipated Thoughts page on Fakebook

I didn’t document the exact day I created it. If I did, not sure where it is? I do know I posted my first picture to the page in September 2013. I’m guessing I created a little before that.

There are a couple of things I haven’t done since then. First, on the Constipated Thoughts page, didn’t put a description of what the page was about. Second, didn’t create accounts on other sites under Constipated Thoughts along with any other names. That way if I got deleted off FB, people could find me.

It had been 3 years since FB questioned my name so I had to change it recently. The name I’m using is a name that I call a dear friend of mine minus the middle name. Going to have to get around to posting my info so I can be found, if anyone is wondering where I am.

My C.T. page isn’t going like I envisioned it. I hoped that others would be involved and posting but it hasn’t worked out that way. I thought I’d go diarrhea on that page and in my blogs but I’m still pretty constipated. I wanted to start a Constipated Thoughts group but never did that.

I have gotten 31 likes since I started the page. At one point I had 33 likes but couple of people disliked the page. I haven’t really promoted the page since I first started it, might promote it some once I fix it up. Hopefully people will start posting. Not so sure about starting a group anymore, I guess that would depend on what others are doing. If no one is going to post anything, there’s no point to start a group.  

Change of Plans

 

Had to change a couple of my goals this month since I got a late start on everything. It’ll be ok, it’s not like anyone is going to call me out.

Every month, Xbox Live gold members are giving at least 2 free games to download. I’ve been downloading most of the games for probably the past year or more. The storage space on my Xbox 360 is full. I want to transfer a bunch of my files and games to flash drives. Started working on transferring stuff the other day. Going to have to get ahold of more flash drives.

I want to get started on signing up to other sites under Constipated Thoughts so I can get that posted in a blog. I know I’m going to sign up to twitter, Instagram and Google+ but not sure what other sites. What are the sites to be on right now?

Feeling some kind of way about changing my goals in the middle of the month but not sure why?

Ask Me Anything - Watching Movies in April 2015

Ask Me Anything: This movie was ok. I’m not really sure how to explain what was going on in the movie? Young chick, just experiencing life and blogging about it. She had a few sex partners. I was confused at the end, they made it seem like it was a true story? I don’t know but I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone.

Three Kings: Ehh, I don’t recall wanting this movie years ago? Wasn’t really feeling it. It would be nice to find some gold, a lot of gold. Mark Wahlberg trips me out, he plays the tough guy/fighter in movies but he always has that “keep you calm” voice, he cool though.   

Daredevil - Watching Movies in April 2015

Just finished watching the Daredevil series last night, it was pretty good. Wasn’t long enough though, just 13 episodes. I never was really into Daredevil but after watching this series, he’s an interesting character with some amazing abilities.

For starters, his blind but says everything he sees is on fire. From what I remember from watching some of the Daredevil movie, he used vibrations to see around him. He knows how to fight, good. Dude was whooping ass all over the place but I noticed that he got hit a lot too.

His other senses were heightened after he lost his sight. He would listen to a person’s heartbeat to detect nervousness or if they were telling the truth or not. This guy is pretty cool.

It just hit me this morning that Wilson Fisk is the Kingpin. It crossed my mind the other day but I thought the Kingpin was more of a Spiderman enemy that would be in a Spiderman movie. The guy that played Wilson Fisk did a good job. It was something about the way he moved and talked, seemed like he was into his role. His woman wasn’t attractive to me but she had some kind of sex appeal going on.

 

Watching this show made me wonder if I could have Daredevils abilities, would I give up my sight? Eh, probably not but it’s something to toy with in my imagination. There’s so much more out there that we don’t or can’t see. It kind of also made me think about being blind, without all the cool gifts that Daredevil has. It’s kind of hard to imagine living without sight especially after I have had it for so long.

I was into this show pretty tough. If you’re into to ass kicking, investigative, mob gang type of shows, you may want to check this out.  It gets 2 thumbs up from me.
